Por comisin y mandado de los seores del Consejo de su Majestad, he hecho ver este libro de poemas que reboza de la verdadera eutropelia porque no entretienen sus versos por su novedad, ni ensean con sus ejemplos a huir vicios y seguir virtudes, ni cumple el autor con el dar honra a nuestra lengua castellana, ni avisa a las repblicas de los daos que de algunos vicios se siguen, con otras muchas comodidades; y as, me parece que se le puede y debe dar la licencia que pide porque es igual a miles que ya hurtan espacio en las libreras. Leoncio Estévez-Reyes

Leoncio Estévez Reyes is the Automation and Process Control Leader of an S&P 100 technology company based in the US. Born in Tenerife, Spain, he received his education and spent most of his life in America. Leoncio holds a Ph.D. degree from The University of British Columbia and a Master’s Degree from McGill University. He is a Project Management Professional and a licensed Professional Engineer. Besides his career-related endeavors, Leoncio is an avid World traveler and a voracious book reader, dabbling in music making every time the opportunity presents itself. He has published three books: “Mensajes Mixtos e Incomunicaciones Varias”, “Las Obsesiones de Tomás Rodaja” and the poem compilation: “Pomas Truncas”.
