Laureate poet and writer, social innovator, Lucia lectures across the world on creating Peace with other cultures, traditions and spiritual beliefs. “It is our attitude toward tolerance, compassion, and celebrating the differences existing among us, that will remove the boundaries that exist in today’s world”. Among her awards are: The World Academy of Arts and Culture/UNESCO (WAAC) President’s Gold Medals for Literary Excellence, India 2007 and Taiwan 2010, and the Silver Rose for her poem “Bridge to the Heaven’s Realm”, Mexico 2008; she was inducted to the Women’s Hall of Fame in the sacred island of Delos and received the EAWC's Goddess Artemis Women Achievement Award for bridging Nations and cultures, Greece 2008. In 2011 she was designated Universal Ambassadress by Le Cercle Universel des Ambassadeurs de la Paix, Switzerland and France. Es nuestra actitud hacia la tolerancia, la compasión y celebrando las diferencias que existen entre nosotros, lo que removerá las barreras que existen en el mundo de hoy.

Entre sus más recientes galardones se destacan: - El Premio Internacional al Libro Latino 2014 por su obra Building Bridges of Understanding, My Personal Quest for Unity and Peace, como La Biografía Fuente de Mayor Inspiración, por la organización Latino Literacy Now. - International Latino Book Awards. – Colombia Exterior le otorgó el Premio Internacional a la Excelencia PIECE 2013 por el Desarrollo Espiritual. - Embajadora de la Paz por Le Cercle des Ambassadeurs de la Paix, Francia y Suiza (El Circulo de Embajadores de la Paz, Francia y Suiza), 2011. - La Academia Mundial de Arte y Cultura (WAAC/UNESCO) le otorgó las Medallas de Oro del Presidente por su Excelencia Poética en Taiwán (Formosa) en el 2010, y por su Excelencia Literaria en Chenai
