Información sobre esta serie

Spanish Reader for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Students began as a project consisting of six Spanish Readers; however, due to the growing amount of e-mails we have received from our readers, the series will now include two additional books: Spanish Reader Advanced III, and Spanish Reader Advanced IV.

All Spanish Readers comprehend various intuitive learning techniques within short stories in Spanish with an unusual twist; a unique creation by CostaRica SpanishOnline for the increasing number of independent learners; the individuals I have taught since 1982.

Spanish Reader for Advanced Students III provides Grammar Structure practice, such as The Imperfect Subjunctive, The Present Perfect Subjunctive, The Future, and The Future Perfect among others.

As in the first six volumes of our  Spanish Readers, you will also find original, entertaining stories with Spanish Grammar in mind: the challenge I have taken on: focusing on Grammar as I create stories with a unique twist.

I hope you find this book as enjoyable as it is for me to present it to you.

Spanish Reader for Beginners II, the second book of the series Spanish Reader for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Students,  intended for Spanish language learners who desire to review Spanish Grammar structures that often require extensive work, such as regular and irregular verbs in The Past and Past Imperfect Tenses.  CostaRica SpanishOnline provides Spanish language learning materials. In this occassion, we offer you a collection of short stories created by Iris Acevedo A., written in Spanish from Latin America, mainly Central America, with the purpose of providing Spanish Language learners a source of Spanish vocabulary and Spanish grammar included in short stories. Each story, written in the format of short paragraphs,  translated from Spanish to English, allows for instant vocabulary translation, thus presenting the reader a vast range of new vocabulary that is easy to learn. One thing to keep in mind, though, as you begin to read is that Spanish is "wordy". What in English can be said in two words, we may end up saying in a whole sentence. For the purpose of teaching you the way we speak, I have used a very literal form of translation to provide you with the exact meaning of each thought, although perhaps it won't make sense to you to say it in such a way. Each volume, from Beginner I to Advanced III, provides short stories that keep you guessing until you reach the end: an unusual twist. We guarantee that you will find a unique blend of culture in Latin America, modern and traditional lifestyles, transitional phrases, grammar structures adequate for each particular level as well as entertainment and increasing practice of grammatical structures required in order to achieve full understanding and fluency in Spanish. In addition to our Spanish Readers, you may find a collection of Spanish dialogues in our series: Spanish Conversation Book for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Students,  available in two formats: e.book and paperback.  For  students who are just beginning to encounter the Spanish language, we offer an elementary Spanish book: Spanish Reader for Beginners-Elementary. Spanish Reader for Beginners is the first of more than eight Spanish Readers of the series Spanish Readers for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Students. This series of short stories in Spanish was created by CostaRica SpanishOnline, the first Online Spanish school in Costa Rica to provide independent learners with live One-On-One immersion Spanish courses via Skype. This series of short stories in Spanish is focused on seven levels of Spanish: Beginner, Beginner II, Intermediate, Intermediate II, Intermediate & Advanced, Advanced I, Advanced II, and Advanced III. Spanish Reader for Beginners targets Spanish Grammar level 1 within unique short stories with an unusual twist: each, written in Spanish spoken in Latin America, including current vocabulary you would like to learn when you begin to study Spanish as a Foreign Language. Each story, written in the format of short paragraphs, each translated from Spanish to English, allows for instant vocabulary translation, thus presenting the reader a vast range of new vocabulary that is easy to learn. I guarantee you will not feel overwhelmed by an array of structures included in higher levels of the Spanish language, for the purpose of this book is to keep you entertained as you begin to learn the language. In addition, I have included a few Grammar Structures of higher levels to provide you with a glimpse of what is yet to come; however, the main focus of this first book is on Grammar Structures used in Beginner Levels: Regular Verbs in the Present and PastTenses, Reflexive Verbs in the Present and Past  Tenses, Direct Object and Indirect Object Pronouns, Prepositions, as well as a wide range of sentence connectors you will want to begin to use at a beginner level. I truly hope you find Spanish Reader for Beginners useful as a learning tool. I know I have enjoyed taking on the challenge of making up a story as I take into consideration the elements of Grammar involved at each level of language learning. Iris Acevedo A
