Listening to the explanations and the authentic sample phrases, and repeating these phrases after me will help you learn conversational Spanish step by step.     Pedro Fernández Fanjul

    My name is Pedro Fernández Fanjul, the author of the Spanish for Beginners Podcast series. I have been teaching Spanish and Latin for more than 30 years in three different countries. I was born in Asturias, Spain. At university I studied Classical Languages and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. After teaching several years in Spain, in 1999 I moved to the USA where I taught Spanish and Latin. In 2014 I moved to Austria where I have my own teaching company. After having taught thousands of students, I am convinced that every person can learn and be fluent in a foreign language. It takes some effort, but the reward is enormous.
