ABADÍA DA COVA: VITICULTURA HEROICA e HISTÓRICA
El próximo año se convertirán en bodega centenaria, hecho que no todas pueden decir a día de hoy. Además, mantienen la identidad de bodega familiar ya que, desde 1923, han pasado diferentes generaciones por la misma pero el espíritu de sus fundadores se mantiene intacto, y están orgullosos de ello.
The history of this winery begins in 1923, when Baldomero Moure started making his first wines in a small, humble winery in A Cova. His wife, Carmen, received an inheritance and combining this with the savings he had made in Cuba, where he had had to emigrate in search of work, they both began to buy up land in the area and started building a winery, located on today's Cuñas estate. The wines produced in those first vintages were sold in bulk in the local area.
In the 1980s, the winery was beginning to outgrow its premises and the decision was taken to build a much larger and more modern facility. Today this facility houses the barrel room and the vinification room for
