Causing major buzz last week, Joe Rogan and Spotify are part of the first subject of this week’s podcast. We talked about how impactful the deal between both is to the podcast industry and some updates on Spotify’s competitors (4:52). Next, after mentioning it during a couple of episodes, TikTok debuts in our podcast. We covered some of its astounding numbers and the breaking news of former Disney’s high executive Kevin Mayer joining the company (15:21). Lastly, the latest player in the streaming wars race, HBO Max, is finally arriving. We discussed some of the investments made by AT&T along with information about the content that will be offered in this new platform (26:39). Back to Netflix, new release The Lovebirds and critically-acclaimed Django Unchained were our movie recommendations (35:52).
