Welcome, everyone. How’s everyone doing? Another month and another subscription video-on-demand platform that gets launched.
A couple of interesting movie releases happening last week such as Netflix’s Moxie, Amazon Prime’s Coming 2 America, and Disney+ Raya and the Last Dragon (2:36). Music-wise, as always, interesting suggestions that Lilia brought to you guys and some interesting moves in the UK Official Singles Chart (12:59).
Back to the streaming wars conversation after a couple of episodes, we now spoke about Paramount+, ViacomCBS's new streaming service that hopes to challenge the biggest players with its vast library of content. Also, we commented on the fact that some analysts are already forecasting that Disney+ will surpass Netflix in subscribing numbers by 2026 (27:49).
