As the first subject of this week’s agenda, we talked about the Tokyo Olympics’ postponement, the new dates, and its economic impact (4:55). Although we are still without sports events, we brought you some solidarity acts that athletes, teams, and people linked to this business have done to help those affected by the virus (12:27). Moving on to our third subject, we discussed how this situation impacted radio consumption and compared it to the decrease in plays felt by music streaming platforms (20:06). Following the streaming lane, we commented on how artists, entities, and companies are embracing the “live” sessions in platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube, apart from spending more time on TikTok (26:29). Lastly, but still mingled in the streaming world, we talked about Disney+ and its recent launch overseas as well as how this impacts the “streaming wars” (32:25).
