Leni Rico, nacida en Linares, España, fue una jugadora profesional de baloncesto durante 11 años y ayudó a sus compañeros a triunfar en el Campeonato de España de 1ª División. Después de graduarse en Administración de Turismo, se mudó rápidamente de la industria del turismo y de las ventas de autos de lujo a las presentaciones. Aunque le encantaba jugar al baloncesto profesionalmente, también se dio cuenta de que su verdadera pasión era actuar. Ella siguió su verdadera pasión que estaba actuando. Ella comenzó a actuar cuando era una niña en pequeños espectáculos en el vecindario. Una vez que tomó la decisión de actuar, se inscribió en las mejores escuelas de actuación, modelaje y danza del sur de España, en la Escuela de Artes Escénicas de Málaga, ESAEM. Leni pronto obtuvo sus primeras películas, cortometrajes y pilotos en España. Debido a los excelentes comentarios y al excelente desempeño de Leni en "The Print", se le pidió que protagonizara la próxima película "6:09" de Ibai Fernández, que fue seleccionada para ser proyectada en el Festival de Cine Los Baños del Carmen en Málaga. En un viaje a Miami, consiguió un puesto en una telenovela y la idea de vivir en Estados Unidos le vino a la mente. Pronto ella se mudó a Los Ángeles.
