After mentioning this movie over and over we could finally celebrate this past weekend. Yes, The New Mutants was finally released in the United States and, of course, we went to watch it. However, before diving to chat about this subject, we quickly visited the UK Singles Chart to give you the latest updates followed by our little #newmusicfriday run through (1:50). Back on the mutant track, this week, we decided to do something different. We dissected the complicated journey that this film (part of Marvel’s X-Men universe) had to arrive at movie theaters. We covered a little bit about the intellectual property and copyright linked to some of Marvel’s characters, went through the many release date changes as well as screenplay rewrites the movie had over the last 5 years (6:14).
