MIRTO 2014 BODEGAS RAMÓN BILBAO

Mirto was born in 1999 to demonstrate that a different type of wine, fresher, more elegant and with less prominence of oak, can be produced in the Rioja. The man who led this change, rejecting classicism to produce wines of a more modern style, was the winery’s winemaker and current general manager, Rodolfo Bastida. This year marks twenty years since the start of that small revolution.
