Hello and welcome to Expat Coffee Break, a podcast dedicated to sharing personal experiences of immigrants and telling their stories of what it's like to move to a new country.
The show is inspired by casual and fun conversations that I have with other expats at my workplace during coffee breaks, where we discuss our experiences, cultural differences and stories about our life abroad.
In this episode, I will share my thoughts on some of the things that I wish I knew before moving to the United States.
Credit score and credit culture works.
Political correctness and differences in humor.
Healthcare system.
How Weird Politics are.
How it was going to affect my wife emotionally.
With my story, I hope to assist in making a more educated decision to whoever is interested in immigrating with a Professional Visa applying for an international job, by sharing the experiences that you don´t usually know about until you are in it.
Whether you are considering immigrating to the United States and want to learn more, or if you are already an American citizen looking to understand the immigrant experience, this podcast is for you.
