Hello and welcome to Expat Coffee Break, a show dedicated to sharing personal experiences of immigrants and telling their stories of what it's like to move to a new country.
In today´s environment, there is a lot of discussion regarding immigration to the United States, whether it´s documented or undocumented immigration, a lot of what has been spoken has left the voices of immigrants themselves unheard.
My name is Javier and I am your host, I will be telling my own story about moving and living in the United States, as well as hosting conversations with guests that also immigrated.
Also, there is a section after the story time named Immigration Talks on the Internet, where I read and comment online posts regarding Immigration experiences or stories that I find interesting.
The podcast is inspired by the coffee break conversations I have with other Expats at my workplace, will keep the conversation casual without going too deep into personal details or documentation processes.
The Expat Coffee Break conversation is open to anyone that wants to share their story and contribute to illustrate a topic that tends to be generalized or ignored.
Whether you are considering immigrating to the United States and want to learn more, or if you are already an American citizen looking to understand the immigrant experience, this podcast is for you.
