Llopart presenta Llegat Familiar, la historia de 26 generaciones hecha vino

Llopart presents its longest-aged sparkling wine, Llegat Familiar, which has undergone more than 13 years of ageing. Llegat Familiar is a tribute to Pere and Jacinta, the parents of the Llopart generation running the winery today. It is a homage to the “honesty, perseverance and passion with which they have preserved and passed on the traditional knowledge of a lifetime dedicated to the harmonious transformation of the fruit of the land”. Llegat Familiar is the culmination of a long history and an apprenticeship as well as the expression of the terroir and the unique character of the vineyards in which the Xarel·lo grows.

The first vintage of Llegat Familiar is the 2007, with only 980 bottles produced. Llegat Familiar 2007 is a single varietal Xarel·lo from a single vineyard, the Paulino vineyard. This is the oldest vineyard in Can Llopart, with less than one hectare of vines planted back in 1935. To obtain the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, the grapes were harvested by hand on 15 September.
