Llopart is the second oldest wine and cava producer in the industry. Its history dates back to the 14th century, when Bernadus Leopardi (remember that name), an ancestor of the Llopart family, received the grant of some vineyards currently located in the Heretat de Can Llopart, in the municipality of Subirats (Barcelona). There is a document testifying to this grant written in Latin and dating from 1385.
