FINE ESTABLISHES ITSELF AS A MAJOR PLAYER IN ITS THIRD EDITION
The third edition of FINE, the International Wine Tourism Fair, held on March 1-2 at Feria de Valladolid, solidified its success with a format centered on specialisation and global content. The event was marked by the addition of new wineries and destinations and the return to an in-person event. Moreover, the experts who took part in the conference programme predicted strong growth ahead for the wine tourism sector.
“FINE shines a spotlight on wine tourism’s infinite potential as a point of reference for attracting visitors from international markets to Spain. We are still far behind the results achieved in France, Italy, and California, but in each edition, we are seeing an upward trend in this form of tourism in the participating wine regions,” said Alberto Alonso, Managing Director of Feria de Valladolid.
Over the course of two working days, FINE hosted more than 2,200 meetings between wineries and regions and the nearly 70 participating tour operators and travel agencies
