He has a law firm of his own. After graduation he went to Germany to study medicine. He switched to law and studied international law in Bern and Hamburg. In 1976 he became a trainee at law firm in New York. After a year he was appointed assistant judge in Sweden. In 2000 he took a Masters in Law and IT. He plays tennis and golf.
