He served for more than 30 years as Professor of Health Economics and Public Health Medicine in Faculty of Medicine National University of Malaysia. He was also appointed as the Founding Senior Research Fellow of United Nations University –International Institute for Global Health. He is the current President of Malaysian Health Economic Association (MAHEA) and Malaysia Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research (MYSPOR).
Dr. Aidalina Mahmud is a Senior Medical Lecturer and Public Health Specialist at the Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She is also the Head of the Public Health Unit of UPM Teaching Hospital.
