A year prior, my mother had died of blood-clotting after surgery. My father died five years earlier of stomach cancer. Little did I know that this intro into holistic health would start me on a journey to have the ability to access this “awareness.”
Sickness (“dis-ease”) is not a “natural” condition. Do we need the self? Yes, absolutely. Do we need to be identified with it twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week? Absolutely not. Because when we’re identified with the self as the self, we live in fear, we live in anxiety, we live in stress, we live in suffering. When we’re able to identify with our Creator, which has no boundaries, and when we’re no longer identified with the self, fear doesn’t come up. When we identify with that which is ungraspable, that which is unnameable, then there is absolutely no fear. We live in fearlessness.
My research has introduced me to many, many books, videos, articles, holistic talks, holistic classes, motivational speakers, etc., some of which I reference in this book: Vergis Bourgeois “Sunshine,” Dr. Paul Goss, Llila O. Afrika, Dr. Sebi, Dr. Tim Morrow, Oprah Wimfrey, Les Brown, Eartha Kit, Dick Gregory, Dr. Aris Latham, Jaggi Vasudev (Sadhguru), Carlton Pearson, Dr. and Master Zhi Gand Sha, Russell Simmons, and others.
In writing this book, which serves more as a reference, my prayer is that it leads you to take authority over your health and that it opens the door, as it has for me, to put together a health regimen for yourself. No one should know your body better than you.
You are with you 24/7. We are not “thata do” people.
