She is now a fourth grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Millington Intermediate School in Millington, Tennessee. Weatherford has written three other books: Pout Tree, Alvin the Alligator Learns a Lesson/ A Story About Brushing and Flossing Teeth, and Why Did you Leave Me in the Middle of the Night?
Her many years of experience in working with children in the classroom and at church has helped her to develop creative ways of teaching students to love reading and writing! She sometimes uses puppets and original stories with various voices to get her message across in a fun way. Her craft in writing in rhyme and creativity truly shines through in her new book Two-Turn Tina!
The illustrator, Sarah Quinn, used her outstanding artistic talent to help these characters to come alive! Her skillful drawing with such detail, and her eye for just the right color combination is truly amazing!
Children will cherish this book for years to come!
Pearl Andrews, a Tennessee high school English teacher, highly recommends this book for children, “I have been eagerly anticipating this delightful children’s book!”ver menos
