She loves ...ver másCatherine Pinsonneault and Oliver divide their time between the states of New Hampshire and Connecticut. “Mrs. P” works in Connecticut as an elementary school principal. She loves her job and her newly adopted state of Connecticut but home is and will always be New Hampshire. Oliver joined Mrs. P in Connecticut in March of 2013 and they quickly became a team. Oliver loves spending time at school whenever he gets the chance. He also loves long rides in the car and enjoys heading to New Hampshire on weekends to spend time with family and friends.
Diane Sirvydas, Catherine’s sister, also lives in New Hampshire and is an artist by trade. She too loves animals and has adopted orphaned kittens to join her pet dog Chaser. Diane brings Oliver’s story to life through her illustrations and vision of how this adventure can be enjoyed by all.
Working together, Catherine and Diane tell the story of Oliver and the importance of the rescue groups such as the Dixie Underground Railroad Rescue in Tennessee. They have included Catherine’s New Hampshire dogs, Slinky and Coby and Diane’s dog, Chaser, in the book to make this a true family story.
Bringing the importance of animal rescue groups to the forefront is a passion of both author and illustrator of Oliver P Finds a Forever Home. Please care about animals and treat them with the love and respect they deserve.ver menos
