She has a master’s degree in pastoral studies. In her years of teaching, retreat work, hospital chaplaincy, and prison ministry, she became aware of young people’s need and desire to not only know about God but to also have an experiential awareness of God in their lives. Drawing from the insights of the early Christian monks and their contribution to the contemplative prayer tradition, she invites children to accompany the little pilgrim on his personal quest to find God. Using the lens of photography and the ancient contemplative prayer, prayer of the heart, children can journey with the little pilgrim to seek and find God deep within their hearts.ver menos
