Born in Mexico, he spent his early childhood on the Pacific coast with his parents until the age of five. After their separation, he endured the long-lasting consequences of their choices-experiences that would later shape the emotional foundation of his writing.Ceneri's poetry explores themes of pain, survival, identity, sexuality, and resilience. Writing with a rebellious and unapologetic voice, he transforms vulnerability into lyrical expression, remaining fiercely authentic to who he is as an artist. His work does not seek to soften suffering but to give it language-turning trauma into reflection, transgression into truth, and pain into art.In August 2003, Ceneri migrated to the United States with his family in search of safety and peace, escaping circumstances that had pushed him to the brink of ending his life. Although he survived those years, the emotional impact left his mind and spirit deeply fractured. Writing became his refuge.During high school, he began writing in isolation after school, using language as a means of survival while learning English in a foreign land. Art classes marked a turning point, helping him rediscover purpose and channel his creativity away from trauma. Art-in all its forms-became the mechanism that allowed him to endure adolescence and begin healing. After graduating, an English teacher encouraged him to pursue publication. Following three years of repeated rejection, Ceneri self-published his first poetry collection, My Poetry: Los Restos de un Humano, in January 2010. The book found unexpected success, leading to readings, signings, and a growing readership.Encouraged by this momentum, he submitted his second manuscript to a publisher. It was accepted on the first submission and released as P.E.D.R.O.: Deep Emptiness, the first installment of a planned four-book novel. Due to production and marketing challenges, the project was later discontinued and is scheduled for republication after 2026 under the title P E D R O.With over twenty years of writing and more than a decade as a published author, Ceneri has released two poetry collections and a four-volume themed journal series. He currently collaborates with MageSoul Publishing, working alongside founder Carlos Medina and senior leadership to support and amplify voices within the poetry community. In addition to writing, Ceneri is a visual artist, designing book covers such as IT HURTS, SURVIVAL, and HEALING-MageSoul Publishing's first anthology trilogy-as well as artwork for other authors. He has also contributed original poetry to each volume of the trilogy, poems not published elsewhere, and continues to translate works and create art for fellow writers.ver menos
