In her long career, spanning many decades, she has worked at colleges in the New York-New Jersey area, where she taught speech therapy courses. Her career has also included providing speech therapy to patients at hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in home care. Most of these patients were elderly and suffered from dementia. It is from this vast experience that she was able to present this guide of activities and exercises to assist dementia patients in communication and thinking skills.

Thinking of activities to encourage memory and organization for her mother inspired Nancy to imagine this book.ver menos
