He has travelled extensively in Greece and the Middle East as well as in England and Europe. His fascination with epic literature generally and Virgil’s Aeneid especially is long standing. This is his first novel. Previously he published a memoir, A Slant of Light, recounting the years of his marriage and his wife’s long, losing struggle with ovarian cancer. He has also published several academic books.ver menos
