I am an African American man who has evolved from a lost soul to a conscious individual. As for my achievements I am the Business Editor for Essex County College's newspaper "The Observer" also I am in persuit of a Bachalors Degree in Communications. Another achievement that I have is as of last year I acquired a (Certified Nursing Assistant License). These achievements took tons of resilience, integrity, patience and persistence. In my youthful days I was on my way to becoming a statistic on the orbituary page of the cities local newspaper. I had a very unstable life from a broken home to thoughts of suicide. I was born in Tampa, Fla to a Sandra Marrow. My Father was obselete in my upbringing which traumatized me as a child pyschologically. This basically left me to be raised by women, which sculptured my thoughts and ideas of how a woman should be. As a young man I would take advantage of women, until I came into knowledge of self, knowledge of my history and awareness of the actrocities that African American women dealt with in America. The present state of young women ways of thinking are projected on television through the media and on the radio. Women are the key to a righteous civilization if the mother is intelligent, nurturing and God fearing most likely the children will share the same attributes as her. But if the Mother is promiscious, deceitful and dependant than the children will follow suit. If you look at the current state of America and it's affairs and then you look at how the women are carrying themselves they coincide with one another. Change is good and change is inevitable. Now I'm going to end this with a quote By the Hon. Elijah Muhammad"If you teach a man you teach one you teach a woman you teach a generation".ver menos
