We lived for a few short years in the city, but after 6 years decided to return to the small town to raise our two children. My husband and I have been married for over 35 years and for most of those years we have been avid motorcyclists. We have been active members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association for several years and enjoy traveling all over the USA on our motorcycles - both for the CMA or on our own. We travel on the motorcycles every chance we get and spend a great deal of our summers on those bikes every year.
By profession, I am a Registered Dietitian and have worked in several large and small hospitals and health care organizations for many years. Within these jobs, I work closely with the doctors and nurses and other healthcare workers and see firsthand how things work in these settings.
So, even though I was not trained as a creative writer, I have always loved to write and I have a lot of life experiences that I enjoy writing into my stories. I have been keeping a journal of stories ever since I was a child and when I started including my life experiences in those stories I was writing, then, my stories became a lot more fun and I thought they were more realistic. Just as an example - when my dad taught me how to ride my first motorcycle (age 13), my stories included a lot of my fantasies about bikes - many of which have come true since my childhood. So I try to include life experiences in all my books now.ver menos
