L’INTENDANT, A VINOUS TOWER OF BABEL IN BORDEAUX CITY CENTRE
Taking advantage of some family holidays in the south-west of France, I drove up to visit the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux which I reported on just last year. I later went into the city centre and looked around the historic old town, where it was clear that wine plays an important part in the commercial life of this city.
