I have been a student at the University of Birmingham (Un...ver másI graduated with two BAs, in English and Hispanic Philology at the University of Cadiz, where I later received my Ph.D in Hispanic Studies. I have been a student at the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom) and both instructor and non-seeking degree student at Amherst College (U.S.A.). I specialize in 20th/21st Century Film and Literature in both Comparative US Latino and Whiteness Studies, and Peninsular Whiteness Studies. Currently, I am an instructor of Spanish at the University of Kentucky (U.S.A.), Editor-in-chief of Nomenclatura, Editor of Nuestra Andalucía and reviewer in academic journals.

Soy licenciado en filologías inglesa e hispánica por la Universidad de Cádiz, donde posteriormente recibí mi doctorado en estudios hispánicos . He sido estudiante en the University of Birmingham (Reino Unido) y también profesor de español y estudiante en Amherst College (EE.UU). Me especializo en cine y literatura de los S.XX-XXI tanto en estudios comparativos de las identidades latino-estadounidense y blanca como en estudios de la blanquitud española. Actualmente soy instructor de español en la University of Kentucky (EE.UU), editor de Nomenclatura, editor de Nuestra Andalucía y revisor en revistas académicas.
