Her father was a taxi driver, but Stephanie and her siblings were raised primarily by her mother, a Certified Nurse’s Assistant, who worked multiple jobs—100 hours at one point—just to keep the ends meeting. Though they faced financial hardships, Stephanie and her siblings were taught the importance of service to others. No matter how bad things seemed, there was always someone who had it worse; that the only qualifications one really needs to help another out of a bad situation are to have a strong work ethic and a loving heart.Stephanie is a graduate of Hope High School in Providence, Rhode Island, with degrees from The University of Rhode Island, and the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She is an advocate who wants every woman to realize their glory and not be timid in any space. She is a woman in Tech, and mother of the cutest, smartest, sassiest little four-year-old girl you will ever meet.
