He has worked with the Oban solicitors Hosack and Sutherland since 1960 and has been senior partner since 1981. He was part-time Procurator Fiscal at Oban for nine years, chairman of the Oban Housing Association for 30 years and was actively involved in the campaign for a Scottish parliament. In 1998 he became MBE for charity work with Scottish Solicitors WILL AID scheme, which he set up in 1988.ver menos
