He also studied fine art at Goldsmith's College London and the Ruskin School of Art in Oxford. He has written a number of books on British architecture and topographical art. He taught for many years at The King's School, Canterbury, and since 2003 as a tutor for the University of Oxford Department for Continuing Education. For many years he has had a particular interest in our industrial heritage which he has felt often neglected in favour of country mansions and parish churches. He lives in Canterbury, Kent.ver menos
