Growing up, Shelby struggled with Attention Deficit Disorder and realized at a young age that she did not perform as well academically as many of her peers. When she was given a sketch pad and a pencil, she found out that she had a talent that not everyone could master. As soon as she recognized how she sparkled, she decided to publish a book that would help children understand that everyone is gifted in their own way.ver menos
