He obtained his education at the New York University and the Graduate Faculty, New School for Social Research, New York. His major interest is the application of sociological theories to solve practical social problems. His goal in methodology is an attempt to find a link and bridge the differences between nomothetic and ideographic approaches to sociocultural disciplines. He is interested in sociology of everyday life. Dr Ogunnika studied the experience and contribution of African nationals in diaspora to American society. Dr Ogunnika is a prolific writer and has published books and contributed to many academic journals. He is presently the editor of the International Journal for Social Science Research and Practice (IJSSRP).

She obtained her PhD from the prestigious Howard University. Her interest is in the application of sociological theories to the complex issue of social injustice in contemporary American society. She investigates the sociological explanation of criminal justice system to determine the conceptualization of justice for the underclass in the society. She is interested in the African American experience and the study of systemic and institutional racism. She investigates the issue of women in societies other than the USA. She has traveled internationally, especially to Africa, to have empirical study of women conditions. She is currently the chairperson of the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Virginia State University. She has also presented in academic conferences and contributed to learned journals.ver menos
