He is an alumnus of the Indian Naval Academy. Having graduated from the Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji, Lonavla (under the aegis of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi) with a B.Tech (Mech), he completed his Post Graduation in M.E (Mech/Marine) from the Institute of Armament Technology (IAT), Pune, conferred by Pune University.
He underwent further specialized training to be inducted into the Submarine Arm of the Indian Navy. He has held various appointments such as Operational, Staff and Training. He is presently appointed at the Naval Selection Board, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu).
The author, hailing from Kerala, has undergone the major part of his education in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He is an alumnus of Kendriya Vidyalayas Malleswaram, ASC and Jalahalli. He is also the alumnus of BEL College and MES College of Arts, Commerce and Science.ver menos
