Olive Stack is a native of Listowel where she established the Olive Stack Gallery in 1998. By then she had graduated from the Limerick College of Art & Design where she studied Painting from 1992-95.
In her ongoing quest for further creative opportunities Olive continues to visit and study in Italy on a regular basis. In more recent times she has pursued her love of mosaics with the same passion and detail that has been her life long trademark.
The subject matter of Olive's work can vary from figurative to landscape and architecture. Olive's work can be viewed in her Gallery in Listowel, where a warm Kerry welcome awaits all who come and visit. She works in various media including Oil, Watercolour, Pastel and Mosaic.
Her internationally recognised paintings hang in corporate boardrooms and in the homes of private individuals. She has exhibited in Ireland, UK, USA and Canada. Olive's first book 'North Kerry the Magic and the Legend' was published in 2006 and 'Mind the View is her follow up publication. Having also worked as a muralist in her earlier career she now runs very popular painting and mosaic classes on a regular basis.ver menos
