He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, as well as post-graduate qualifications from the National University of Ireland at Galway and Cork. He has worked in the private sector for over 15 years, five of which were given to running his own company in Edinburgh. He is presently working as a volunteer for Cork-based charity Cois Tine and is pursuing further postgraduate studies. He will complete his studies for a Master’s in Politics in 2012. His work at Cois Tine has given him the opportunity to combine his interest in justice, community, politics and history. He campaigns on the issue of human trafficking, an issue about which he is passionate.ver menos
