Nikki's inspiration for her first children's book, A Day down the Candy Aisle, stems from her love of teaching, children's books, and family?especially her mother, who really loved her jelly beans! She wrote the book to educate future generations about the importance of getting along with one another, despite differences in appearances and opinions.
